Download and set up EssentialsX-GUI for the first time.
New to Minecraft server management, or just want to avoid making mistakes? Then this page is for you!
Step 1 - Download
To download the plugin, go to one of the official platforms where the plugin can be downloaded listed below.
Please note! If you find this plugin on a site not listed here, please do not download it! Be sure to follow the official links! We will not be held responsible if you download the file from an unsafe site.

After downloading the .jar file you should have a file named as followsEssentialsX-GUI-[version].jar.
Step 2 - Setup
Installing the plugin is easy, first you need to stop your server, you can use the /stop command, or use a stop button depending on your server.
Then simply move the downloaded file to the plugins/ folder on your server.
You can now restart your server and check that the plugin has loaded correctly and without errors. If an error occurs, try deleting the files and repeating the operation. If this doesn't solve your problem, please go to our discord, or open an issue on GitHub.
Step 3 - Check loaded files
To finish off, and make sure all files are loaded correctly, you can go to the plugin data folder plugins/EssentialsX-GUI/ and check that the configuration.yml and messages.yml files are present, as well as the inventories/ folder with several files in sub-folders.
This is a simple check, but in theory if a file is missing, an error in the console should appear while the plugin is loading!
Now you can enjoy the plugin!
